If I take off my Spoon Xbrace......Urgent
Is it OK not to replace the original bolts. Why you ask, because I dont have them. I sold my car but they are going to take it off for me. Will there be any issues with no bolts, or should I leave the Spoon bolts in those holes and just take the brace? Thx.

Minor problem.. I think the Spoon bolts are too long without the brace (and the next brace user will need them)... AND if I recall correctly some bolts are needed in those spots to hold factory braces. See if you can get appropriate bolts from Honda or a supply.

Since I've never installed an X-brace, it's hard to tell which bolt it is from the picture in the manual. Although from the pix online, I'm guessing it's one of the bolts that goes through the front subframe, which would make them either (or both?)
Page 20-92 of the manual:
14x1.5mm @ 85.3 lbf-ft (116N-m)
These go through the subframe into the body and there are 2 of equal length on each side, tho each is a little different: the front-most one of these rather long bolts is illustrated as having threads 3/4 down and the rear (just rear) only 1/4 way down the shaft.
10x1.25mm @ 28 lbf-ft (38N-m)
These go through a left and right "gusset" into the subframe
Hope this helps!
