if i remove the srs unit from under the radio will the oem seat belts still work ?

Shotgun shell?! Where did that come from? .22 caliber cartridges on the left at the most. (Shot gun shells on the right.) Look at nail gun blanks next time at Home Depot. Not real scary. And the detractors use blanks, not projectile cartridges.

To give an idea of power differences shotgun blanks were a common source of starting large aircraft and tank engines a long time ago. Requires a lot more power than a seat belt retractor. And even this isn't scary.
