Idle stumbling and revs sticking when decel.

Damn idle hasn't stuck again so can't try pulling the pedal up to test. The stumbling and bogging down/revs dropping has only happened when the ac is on. If it starts and I then turn the ac off the idling gets normal.
Would the likely issue still be the tps or map sensor?
Driving back up to ny shortly so would love to have this issue fixed by then.

when the revs stick at 4k, put your foot under the gas pedal and pull up. If the RPM's drop to normal its a mechanical issue (throttle cable/ throttle body)

I'm thinking that the throttle got stuck because a while ago I painted the area where the cable attached since it was real
Nasty and rusty and all. Probably during long drives in the heat the paint got a bit sticky and stuck a couple times. Ac idle issue is the problem now.

Wondering if you got this AC idle issue fixed? Any solution?

Sticking IAC valve will cause a high idle.
If you have the proper tool bit (you wont, you will have to buy it. its a five point torx called a pentacle bit...avail only online or tool trucks) you can take the motor portion off the IAC valve. There is a little shaft in the IAC that turns on tiny bearings. you will find this shaft does not turn freely.
Clean it out, and spray it with WD40. get that shaft to spin freely.
Enjoy your super smooth idle.
