Thumbs up Idle Problems

Hi

Recently ive been encountering some issues with my S2k,it has a weird Idle, sometimes at a stop-light the idle rpm's drop below 1K and the engine begins to struggle , I give it some gas and its fine.

I thought it could be the IACV (Idle Control Valve) , I bought a brand new IACV and replaced it, but it didnt help at all.

BTW , its worse when i turn the A/C On

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Does the car have a rough idle period or only at stop signs? Do you drive your car hard? Under the hood does it have any weird noises like something broken?

If you keep doing this, it will simply continue to do this until the weather changes. It needs to nearly die for it to learn. "Helping" it only prolongs the learning process and you will take that much longer to get this issue out of the way.

Or coasting a long ways with clutch pushed down while approaching the stop. This confuses the heck out of the ECU.

This has been more evident on mine since it has been really hot 90+ out. A couple of days and the ECU still has a tough time when the AC compressor comes back on along with the heat soak.

Have you had any work done on your wiring harness ? Has it been removed and reinstalled ?
