idle problem!

well, reseting the ECU was the first thing i tried, i did exactly as shown on instruction, after pulling the fuse, i let the car idle for awhile ( everything else turned off in the car), after a week of driving, nothing has improved, then i did the MAP Whack then repeat the process, then IAC valve, still the same
cleaning the oxygen sensor seems to be the next step ,
if i can just pin point the exactly the problem come from...
what concern me is: after driving for 5 min, the car is perfectly fine! (for the rest of the day, till next morning)

When was the last time you replaced your pcv valve (15$)? Poor idle is one of the primary symptoms of a bad pcv. It's also the cheapest to check first.
You can also just shake it, if it rattles it's usually fine.

the car seems to behave better in a cool day...
arrr this drive me crazy, ok so i will need to check these:
1.pcv valve
2.oxygen sengor
3.IAC valve
4.MAP sensor
5 knock sensor
6 coolant cemp sensor
this wont be easy...

had the O2 sensor checked out today, it respond fine, so thats ruled out, i had my map sensor swapped with a friends cars, will try it tomorow morning to see...

When the IAC valve is cold, wax in the valve srinks thus bypassing enough air for a high idle when the engine is cold. Engine coolant will cause the wax to expand as the engine warms thus lowering the idle. Once the engine is fully warm the electrical part of the valve will control idle speed. If the electrical part of the IAC valve is bad then the engine will idle until the wax in the valve warms up.
