Definitely sounds like bent valves. SLOW DOWN WHEN YOU SHIFT! I'm not sure how mechanically savvy you are but if it were me I'd rebuild it myself if the dealership refuses to warranty it (which they probably won't). Save some cash and gain some knowledge. Buy an Helms manual and some fresh AP2 valves, guides, springs, valve seals, and retainers. Might be able to get away with not having to replace all of it, but hell you're already in there. Might as well. Or if you plan on boost down the road, might as well slap some Supertech or Ferrea valvetrain in that bad boy. Have you compression/leakdown tested since the incident?

Ok so I turned the car on today and the check engine light was off so I took the car for a spin and it revs fine I got it up to 50mph and the car runs perfectly fine.. but when I come to a complete stop the car shuts off... And to turn it back on I have to rev also when I start off in 1st the car jerks but once I get speed the car runs fine...=\

Hopefully there's nothing wrong with the motor

Bent valves for sure. Get them changed out asap or you will have a bigger problem down the road. Usually when a valve is bent and you run it like that chances are, you will drop a valve in those cylinders and destroy the whole engine.

Get it fixed now! Trust me based on my experience this is what happened. The previous owner over revved my car
