Stock clutch setup in my ap2, my CDV is starting to annoy me and i want to remove it, but dont want to screw up my diff.

Have you guys removed it many miles ago with no drivetrain problems.

I DONT LAUNCH, this is strictly for shifting up top.

Well...all the AP1s are running without a CDV. There are a ton of AP1s with over 100k miles and are still on the original diff.

I removed mine not long after I got the car. Have fun w/ the snap ring.

The CDV isn't what's bugging you, its the flywheel/pp combo.

The CDV does make a difference though.

I do agree however, the whole setup could be changed.

This is one of the first things i did when I bought my car. its been over 10K miles already. not a hint of a problem.

Rid yourself of the 22lb flywheel 1st.
