Default i have a question about my clutch

i noticed that my clutch doesnt need to be press very far to disengage, like a tap on the clutch to shift gear almost...im guessing about 15-20%% of the way to the bottom, does this mean my clutch is worn? do i need to change the fluid?

the thing is that my car has only 9k miles on it, i wonder if the dealership i bought it from beat the crap out of it before selling it (a toyota dealership that usually doesnt get any "exciting" car)

it also makes a rattling noise while in gear when the clutch is slightly pressed, i took it to the honda dealership and they said theres nothing wrong with the clutch

thanks guys

i dont think its beat up. it doesnt take a full compression of the clutch pedal to disengage
ive noticed it when i barely bought my s2000 with less than 10 miles

*the owners manual recommends us to fully press the clutch pedal when shifting gears though

Your procedure of shifting doesn't necessarily signify anything. You can actually shift without using your clutch at all (not recommended) IF you are fairly good at rev matching when you shift. Maybe you are or maybe you're just lucky and it's a matter of time before you goof up a shift and grind the crap out of your gears. There are far better "tests" to see if your clutch is slipping or maladjusted.
