I just ordered the 4.77 gears from www.ricks2k.com along with the yellow box and the OEM intall parts. Before I order the VAFC I want to check if it will void my warrenty. Would Honda be able to tell that I had used it if I took it out before I brought it in for any repairs or anything?

As far as an intake goes, I am thinking of an AEM CAI for about 270 or a K&N Typhoon for about 350. Does it really matter between the two? I also want to find a bypass valve because it rains all the fricken time here and I don't want to suck up water. Where can I get one of those? What kind of advantages would I get from a Hondata gasket? Same question with the ECU?

"Scott,
Where are you getting your prices?
Gears alone are close to 800 (with needed replacement parts and yellow box).
If you have some money, the gears are a must. Then an intake. The Hondata gasket is another good investment (since our engine HATES heat). The Mugen or Amuse ECU is another good choice. Then the exhaust (single outlet...IMO).
From what I've read, our exhaust is ok, but not great so getting an exhaust will help some."

You obviously haven't seen Rick's new prices...

So its about 800 bucks prior to installation......just as I posted the 1st time. I posted my invoice which is for the gears and yellow box (I can get the OEM parts cheaper).

I don't think that I'll put any CAI on it. Right now it's too risky and I don't think it would give me any noticable gains. What advantages would I see from a new gasket and an ECU?
