I have read it in the service manual (can't tell you what page at the moment) and it says BACK UP fuse (#25) for 10 seconds. If I have to, I usually take it out, pick my nose a bit and put it back in.

[QUOTE]Mine is the 00-01 manual and no, I've never heard any sound when resetting the ECU. It is easy to experiment to see just how long it takes to reset. You can purposely disconnect something insignificant like one of the VTEC wiring harnesses near the front of the engine, start the car till the CEL comes on. Then turn the car off, pull the fuse and plug it back in after 10 seconds, 20, 30 etc. Restart the car and see if the CEL is gone. But I think at least with an 00, 01 and even an '02, it will reset pretty quick. I can't say that I've put it back in in 10 seconds. I'm not that dexterous when I'm bent in 2 different directions under the dash.

the "click" is the same sound you hear when you do the window auto down fix. well i heard it, nothing too special i guess. i did remove the correct one according to the fuse KEY near the kick panel. now i need to replace the O2 sensor. i'll check out that site, any other suggestions? BTW i plan on getting a spugen V2 single exhaust in the future, any recommendations on what i should do? replecing the O2 sensor is a definate already anyways, i might as well get it done right so i wont have to worry about it.
BTW would i be able to replace this myself or should i have a shop do it?
