I've had I/H/E/test pipe on for 85,000 miles. And drive it hard, all the time.

EVEN IF your mods bought you to the lean side (which they wont) you can put your parts on, and just keep it out of WOT (wide open throttle)

thats kinda what i figured. actually im going to challenge myself to keep it out of VTEC all together all week, just for kicks - a task that I've never accomplished with my S. Curious to see how my fuel economy will improve.

While not the absolute solution, wouldn't doing an ecu reset to re-learn better maps be an option? Sorry I'm a semi noob ;p

The VAFC will not help you to enrichen fuel. If you try adding more than a couple percent more fuel, the ECU will take a duece, since it will look like boost. Basically, the VAFC is only good for leaning out an overly rich mixture, which works really well on stock AP1's.
