Default I found this weird device in my center console.

So today when I was taking apart my center console, I found this strange device with wires that eventually go into my dashboard. I originally assumed it was some kind of alarm, but I'm not too sure because I don't have an alarm FOB or any other signs of an aftermarket alarm. I tried to Google the serial number, but nothing comes up. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? The little light thing blinks green and red.

It looks like all the wires are connected somewhere into my dash except the white one. Any ideas? Thanks!

Yes I do, it's an Alpine CDA-9887, but I put it in myself I also changed out the speakers myself too. The weird box was put in by the previous owner, I believe. I really have no clues as to what it could be. I may have to take apart my dash and trace the wires eventually if I can't get an answer.

Audio Vox as-22 unit

Part of your car's previous alarm system. Sensor adjuster.

Yes - part of an alarm system that it seems is no longer there.

Ah, thank you guys. If it is just a proximity sensor, I might as well just cut it out since I have no need for it anymore. Hearing that thing rattle around in my center console got annoying after a while.
