I called Torsen today to see what they think of why my diff may have broke. I explained that it was the pinion gear. THe Tech stated to me that Torsen doesnt make the gear set. Only the LSD. The LSD's are then shipped to MAZDA ( yep you heard right) and Mazda installs the gearset's, bearings, and they make the axles too. So i wonder if mazda is not making these rear ends correctly to keep the hype up on their own roadsters..or if they are just not making them right by accident. See ..i knew honda couldnt make a RWD car..hehe. I thought everyone would like this news.

Yeah Pinky. That is what i said. SHoot..Mazda cant even make the published 155hp for the new miata. I hope the diff's arent the same as the torsen for the miata. No wonder they are breaking.

I had heard that rumor before. Before the car came out, the rumor was that it would have a 3rd gen RX-7 rear end, but I've looked at it next to my friend's rx-7 and they're not the same. very interesting tho.
