What other options do s2k owners have?

How did you break the axle? Is this something that happens from mechanical defect, impacting a curb, clutch drop or what?

I think what the OP is trying to say is he beats the crap out of the poor car. The first casualty was second gear.

Yes they denied warranty. Which I don't totally disagree. But I did disagree with them last year when they denied the warranty with the 2nd gear counter shaft and gear. I made them send the broken 2nd gear part to Honda Japan, they said it was from downshifting. So my advice is try to use heal and toe or rev-it up a bit before letting the clutch go when down shifting.

Back to the topic, what do you guys think of modified non-OEM drive shaft like?
What are my options? Any good Brands?

On the web I could only find used and new oem part and this stage 2.9 or stage 5.9 unit. Is it worth it? Would these drive shafts be noisy? Or harsh (not smooth)?

What do you guys suggest? Should I just get the Honda OEM part 42311-SA-951?

I believe the part number is 42311-S2A-951 (you forgot the 2 between S, A). You can purchase from slhondaparts.com for $461.66
