I would be willing to bet that the heads from a F20 and F22 are exactly the same anyways.
Just a thought. Again, I don't know if this information is accurate or not. I believe I heard it on an episode of Motorweek.

I like to use a 2.2 engine block, pistons, etc. with the 2.0 head, cams and computer.
Also I'm not sure for what kind of transmission mods. I need.
Please send me any info.
Thank you!

I don't know if it is accurate, but I heard that the cam profiles had been modified as part of the upgrade from pre'04 to '04
List of difference that I'm aware of:
crank, rods, cams, valve springs (PCX -> PZX), rocker arms, retainers, valve cover & PCV breather, oil pump, oil jets (-010), flywheel, alternator (-J02), coil (PNA K-series common), exhaust header, throttle body, injectors
Things that are the same: block (short block assy is new P/N due to oil jets), pistons, head, oil pan & baffle, water pump, clutch & pressure plate, starter, auto tensioner, intake manifold
Some of the reasons why are not so obvious, like why the heck the alternator changed? Maybe just part commonization....?? Certianly is a lot more changes than you would expect for a stroker.

Is the '04 flywheel heavier than the previous years? We have felt this discernable difference on the 2.2.L.

04 has dual mass flaywheel for softer engagement.
Don't remember the weights exactly but it was like 6.8kg vs 9.3kg.

Dunno, can't look up that kind of stuff from home. I'll try to remember to check tomorrow.
