I just finished installing an NOS dry kit and have not run it yet. The nozzle is mounted about 6 inches from the throttle body in the stock air intake tube. There is now a soft humming noise coming from the intake at idle. I am assuming it is some sort of harmonic vibration. Should I be concerned? Thanks for any input.

Does anyone else with nitrous have this humming noise?

The stock intake makes a whistling noise at WOT and a hum at idle. The most probable issue(if you have one) would be a leak in your tap. Assuming you put a seal in, I would check there first.

my stock intake does not make any noise at all, at idle or WOT. no humming or whistling.
