HUGE puddle of oil under my car!
My 2003 S2000 has about 14 000 miles, no mods, 100% stock.
Yesterday I filled up the engine oil up to ''full''. (Mobil 1 synthetic)
Engine oil and filter were changed in late April this year.
I parked it in my garage last night and this moorning I see oil marks leading all the way up to my parking space and under my car there's a large amount of oil that is almost as wide as my car and that goes from the front to the back of my car completely!
Could it be because I overfilled my engine oil yesterday?
I checked the engine oil level 15 mins ago and it's exactly like it was yesteday after I added oil. (on the ''F'' mark)
My car is still under warranty for the engine-tranny but I don't know what to do now...
I think I'm going to have it towed to a Honda dealership so they can look at it monday moorning...
My car's tranny works just fine, everything seems normal and it drove perfectly last night before I parked it. Should I try and start it up?
Is it more likely to be my engine or tranny oil that's leaking under my car?

Could it have pooled from another vehicle? What color is the oil, what does it smell like, is any part of the undergarraige wet? Why did you put oil in in the first place? What was the level before? I wouldn't start it until I was sure where that fluid came from.

Did you spill the oil down the side of the motor while filling.
should I try and start the car?

Maybe the oil filter gradually got loose? Check and see if it's on tight. If it's tight, open the hood and inspect your engine area and see if you can spot a leak. If it's leaking as much as you've described, you should be able to see where the drip is coming. If you still have a hard time, lift the car up on the jack to see if the washer is on tight.
Lastly, the "F" mark you're talking about...it's the top "X" on the dipstick right?

Well I checked the oil filter and it's not leeking from there.
I also drove around with my car around town for about 30 mins and it's not leaking oil anymore when I park it or while I'm driving. Seems to pull fine at every RPM.
I'm still going to take to Honda on monday just to be sure, but I'm almost positive it's because I spilled oil near the engine oil fill hole while I was filling up...
