I NEED the duster!

Do you use the water blade as a squeegy to push the water off of the car?

Do you think the water blade is better than a synthetic shammy?

Former, I've used chamois a lot, both real and synthetic plus those funny yellow or blue things ("absorbers"?) you buy at the Stampede and Home shows. I prefer my current way of washing and drying a car far better than any other method I've used BUT then, I'm not quite as particular about car care as some folks here. All types of wipes, even the synthetic chamois, once it's been used a little bit still leaves tiny little specs of "something" behind. I'm sure I don't have the "best" or the most fool proof way there is but it works very well for me.

gernby, thanks!

thanks, might give the blade a try. I think the key to get all the dirt off on the pre wash before taking the wash mit to it. 2 mits would be ideal...

If all else fails Zaino Z5 works great to cover up the fine swirl marks.

There is also another "trick" to using the "Water Blade". I noticed a light scratch one day (which will come out with Zaino) and thought my blade did it. The next time I washed my car, I noticed right where that scratch was, that I dragged my finger nail along the paint. It wasn't the blade at all. Solution: don't be such a ditz or do a rubber "Michael Jackson".

RE: your Z5 remark. THAT'S the spirit!

PEP BOYS to the rescue! I got one this week for $10 at pep boys. The cheapest I found it online was $20.
