How to torque diff flange nut?

IIRC (I'll double check when I have my manual) they start rebuilding the diff (the page you show) by putting the pinion in, nothing else.
The 2 conical bearing of the Torsen+ring have their own pre-load.
Maybe that's what you refer to when you mention adding torques?
Anyway..
Take small steps and turn the pinion inbetween steps.
Maybe you can feel the resistance build during the backlash - when the pinion is turing freely.
Maybe its all not that critical....
Maybe the type of oil is much more important?
(is there an icon opening a can of worms?)
