I have a MY00 with a plastic rear window, and almost every time i put it down the plastic creases at two points. This is causing the plastic to cloud at these specific points.
I am also unable to install the tonneau cover. Not that this in itself really matters, but it got me to thinking, is my top folding down the wrong way causing unnecessary wear on the plastic window? I know that the plastic could crease/crack if its cold out, but its 60-70 where Im at so I know thats not the problem. Any help is appreciated, I will post pics as soon as I can.

The bar directly above your head is probably holding the top from closing all the way, common issue. Try pushing the bar back when opening the top until it is past your head and see if it folds up better/lower in the top tray.

Yep I had the same problem!! I bought the cover and was like WTF why won't it fit!! Sold it then a few weeks later I figured it out
now it sits fine.
Do what ^he says and it will work, the elastic looses it's elastisity and won't pull it anymore.
