How to resurface the flywheel at home
I know I read somewhere on here how to do so, but I can't find it now. I'm changing my clutch out tomorrow (ap1) and if the flywheel is okay looking, I planned on scuffing it up with some sand paper. What grit should I get? And what pattern should I sand at? IE criss cross?
Thanks guys!

I have cleaned up the surface on good condition FW's and PP's with sandpaper but it will not salvage a unit that clearly has wear or damage. I just us #100 grit paper and try to get a random pattern.

literally use the wax on wax off method. to create a sudo finish. they use something called bourdeless grinding to grind them from the factory and it uses opposing disks. so go around clockwise then counter clockwise.

I understand it being cheap to have a shop to do it, but I'm a broke college kid! haha But thanks guys! I would have a shop do the fw, but I'm using a friends dad's shop and only have two days to do it so time is some-what limited.
