another thing, is make sure if you swap out your intake box for somthing esle, make sure u know where the hoses route to.

When removing the 2 rubber pipes or hoses, do you take the metal piece that seems to be stuck in the larger one for the new intake, or do you just want the hose only? I can't seem to get either off, but I need to know what should actually pull off. Any ways to get this off easyer? It seems solid on the pipe.

Anyone that can answer my question? I am in the process of installing it right now and I am stuck here.

Also, why do you need to know where the vacuum lines route to? Don't you leave these in the same place just hooked up to a new intake? Do you have to do this for an AEM V2?

Remove ONLY the hoses. Leave the metal part alone. Rather than trying to "pull" off old hoses, "PUSH" them off using a flat bladed screw driver to separate the rubber where it meets the metal. Once you get it to give, then you can twist and pull on it to get it off.

DO NOT disconnect the vacuum lines without immediately reconnecting that line. This way, you won't get mixed up as you would if you had them all disconnected at once. Then, you're sitting there wondering which end is which.

The only reason is that you have to relocate that solenoid. In order for it to reach the new position, at least one of the lines must be longer. Most people also wish to eliminate the metal tubing loom to have a cleaner installation. This will also require that the provided longer tubes be used.
