WATER WETTER... its pretty good stuff .. Make sure you do regular radiator mantanance and typically a radiator cooling plate helps also. Intakes are good but you should watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCi2yo4UqPI I think you will be suprised. The last thing you should do is look at your thermostat If you can get a lower temp one it will help you out in the long run ( your fans will run more often but your engine temp will be reduced) AND TURN OFF YOUR A/C...LOL

thats all good ideas but if you want to prevent heat soak. you need to get the heat out of the engine bay. A switch jumping the fans or vented hoods are the way to go. You can wrap all you want the intake manifold is still getting hot.

just my 2 cents but i recently swapped hoods with a member, my stock uncut hood for his stock cut hood. (he was trying to move down in class for autox) after an hour drive home from his house i decided to put my hand on the hood to see if i could "feel" a difference. where the cut-outs were was just as hot but on the side of the IM it was NEARLY cool to the touch definitely noticeable difference in just touching the hood, i don't have any kind of temp gauge or else i'd put up numbers. also cut-out is only on the passenger side
