Default How often should I change the oil?

I was wondering if the S2K follows the same maintanence schedule as other honda's. I serviced my old accord every 3750 miles. Is it the same with the S? I know that my car has a maintnence minder system but I heard that they aren't reliable.

You have an "oil minder" on your 2006. Please read your owner's manual. It will tell you exactly when to change your oil.

I am not aware of commonly known cracks on our engines (unless something was messed with).

On the 06. If you don't want to to wait for the minder oil life reach 0% then change the oil annually. That's what the manual said.

Thanks.

To everyone else that posted. If you would read the entire post I clearly stated that I heard that the maintnence minder system wasn't very reliable. That is why I asked the question. It seems like a lot of people on the boards like to bitch and complain about people posting rather than helping. I thought this was a community of S2K enthusiasts out to help fellow enthusiasts. Lately it doesn't seem that way.
