How often do you guys change your clutch fluid?
#2
I changed it at 55k miles when I bought the car, the fluid appeared to be pretty dark, quite a bit of dark deposits in the bottom of the MC - it was an 8 year old car so it was due for replacing.
I would probably treat it similar to brake fluid changes in the future since they both use the same fluid, every 3-4 years swap it out.

I find the clutch fluid should be changed every 5-10k mlies. It gets dirty very quickly, and is the first thing to cause 2nd gear grind.
This is why most s2k clutch master cyls leak. The fluid can go dark and gritty very quickly.
80% of the s2ks i see have dirty clutch fluid, leaking into the carpet under the dash.
If kept clean, the leak will stop.
Everyone go look under your dash for the drip on the master

I cleaned mine out quite well after i bought it, and it was dirty within 5k miles.
Honestly when i got it, it was dirty enough to warrant taking the damn reservoir off and completely cleaning it up and putting it back on and rebleeding all the air out.
But i couldn't really do that.

Does your pedal kind of stick at the bottom? Not sure how to explain it.
If your slave cylinder doesn't have grease on it, pedal effort increases and it will stick at the bottom of pedal travel. Not sure about the clicking, but it could be your master cylinder. I say clean her up and bleed it, see what happens man.

It was changed when I bought it at 53k and I changed it on my own at 58k. I plan on changing it every other OCI, so about every 15k miles. I plan on doing my diff fluid every 30k miles.
Well within the limits given in the manual.
