How to nitro
Hello everyone! I have had my s2k for about a year now and have I'm the DIY type of guy and have been interested in installing nitrous on my daily driver. I saw Mighty Car Mods NOS Sniper kit on his s2000 and thought this would be perfect! Ever since I have been researching nitrous. But I want some people's opinions and help to do it properly. So my questions today are:
1. Will it be safe to just have an AFR gauge to monitor the AFR (so it doesn't go lean) and for tuning/jetting purposes?
2.I'll probably run 75 shot and get my fuel to the wet system by tapping the fuel rail and was wondering if I would need any fuel system upgrades. Fuel pump? Fuel pressure regulator?
3.Not a nitrous expert here so what do I need to know about cam timing and spark plugs?

There's an episode (or two) on how the Mighty Car Mods guys put Nitro in their S2000. They didn't do it, they had experts do it and they "helped." They dyno tuned it and changed the jets, etc. Does not appear to be a driveway project unless you own a dyno.

I did this all in my driveway. I have a zex wet nitrous kit 75 shot. I purchased s window switch and afr to monitor everything. I also went one step colder with my plugs. All on the stock ecu. Car ran like a champ. No issues whatsoever. It's not legal here in California learned that the hard way.

I had a zex kit before. I would tap the fuel rail or get a aftermarket rail for the fuel nitrous kit. I had a problem starting the car after trying to use the rubber fuel line under the car. In that mcm episode, they had a problem with that same line but never explained what happened.

Let's correct the terminology to help spread education
What is the difference between Nitrous Oxide and Nitro or are they the same?
Many people confuse nitrous oxide with nitro methane, because the term ‘nitro’ is often used to abbreviate both but it was first used as an abbreviation for nitro methane. Nitro methane is a fuel used by top class Drag bikes/cars and is in no way similar or linked to nitrous oxide. In fact they couldn’t be more different, as nitro methane is a flammable fuel, while nitrous oxide is a non-flammable oxidiser.
