what do you guys think of this turbo kit ? (maybe a repost)
www.inlinepro.com
it does sound very cheesy from some perspectives however, I spoke to the guy at the shop and he said they use a stainless steel head gasket and a modified timing chain gear to make up for the 3 mm thickness of the gasket, I asked him how do you pull back timing to prevent knock, and he said "there hasnt been any knock on the motor" the car dynoed at 442 rwhp at 18 psi with a stock motor . is hard to beleive but hey its possible, but now how long will it last, thats the question....

maybe it is a bit off topic but is possilbe to change pistons without taking out the engine I have the SC with A/C and "intercooler" and it is a pain to take all off.
with 9:1 I ma happy I will run only 8 psi but I want a 100% safe car

it's possibly doable but very fiddly s2000_europe
I know a couple of people who did the same thing with their skylines and their engine bay is even more cramped than the s2k.
It's best to remove the engine though
also if you want to use the standard short block you will need to use very low silicated pistons. I am not sure what is available in Europe, but I know of some one who used Jun pistons. They are so expensive
IMHO if you want to beef up the f20c for high boost you should do it properly. The stock rods are forged but IMHO the neck is fairly narrowed. I would be worried if I use it for high boost given that ???some standard s2k has had rod poking out of the block before.

It's more of a personal thing Godzilla sleeves (basically golden eagle) or what I'm going with... AEBS. It's almost a tie betweek the two. The AEBS sleeves are supposedly rated to hold like 50psi of boost before cracking. Both of them can do the S' sleeves and both are great. Both also take a hell of a long time to finish the work and send it back to you
