Then with those #,s your car would have no traction and go into a serious wheel spin..
Or with 368 ft lbs of torque, just simple gear stripping like the title of the thread. Since you are not pulling a trailer that seem like a lot of unnecessary torque.
With that kind of torque/hp IMHO you should be seeing zero to 60 numbers in the 3.X seconds and quarter miles times around 12 flat at 110+ mph.

I would suggest you try second gear starts.

If you really want to keep your transmission, I suggest you look into a good reliable centrifical supercharger that won't strip the teeth off second gear.

It spins terribly at first but I am looking into that. Some wider wheels are on the way. Only have 18x9 right now. So what kind of tranny upgrades are we talking about. It has only been running these numbers for about 2 weeks and I dont drive it very hard.

i am running a vortec with 8 psi of boost and have launched it quite a bit and have had no problems so far.
only problem i have is i grind second alot more cause my hand is alot faster that my foot, and i can not keep up with the short first gear. (as soon as i launch i have to shift right away).

I have a fully built turbo motor. I am making 368ft/lbs of torque and 400 hp @11psi. My tranny is just fine but I wouldn't dare launch it hard I have a stock rear end.
sorry, ive tuned over 100 boosted hondas, and im pretty sure you didnt make 368 ft/lbs with only 400 whp. Id love to see your dyno chart.

For example. lets say your peak VE was at 6000 rpms (most likely its higher, which would prove my point even more). this is also your peak tq.

you say you made 368 ft/lbs and if u made it at 6000 rpms. 368 x 6000/5252 = 420 whp.

Lets say your turbo is really crapping out. we'll even say your torque drops off so much its only making 250 ft/lbs at 9000 rpms. thats a drop off of over 100 ft/lbs which is a hell of a lot. you would still be making 428 whp.

furthermore, ive never seen 368 ft/lbs out of that small of a snail. especially with such a short stroke.

go mase go!

The #'s just dont make sense. Even if you posted up the dyno sheet, it still doesn't count because it's really not possible. Unless you have a complete bypass that cuts past the turbo at a certain RPM?
