what do u mean by warmer climate how warm? i m in seattle and it doesn't get that cold here in winter. right now we are seeign upper 40's and honda mtf isn't working well with cold tranny. it's not silky smooth when the tranny is cold.
also u mentioned gm stuff doesn't seem to last as long. how long?

There is a good write-up posted above about the GM stuff. Basically it is smooth as butter when you first put it in but some report that the smooth feeling goes away at or before 10k miles. I like a longer service interval for the tranny fluid (more like 20-30k) and I have found the Redline MTL satisfies that requirement well.
