I am going to flush the brake and clutch fluid. How much do I need to buy? Is it really necessary to buy Honda brake fluid? Thanks
This!
You mght get by with a pint bottle but a quart is only a couple dollars more and then you'll not have to worry about running out while you're in the middle of doing it.
I use Prestone which is available at any auto parts store--runs about $5-6 a quart. others swear by ATS but you probably would have to order it online.

Pick up a cheap turkey baster at the dollar store and use it to suck out the fluid from the master cylinder and then pour fresh fluid in --- makes the job go much quicker when you start with fresh fluid ---no need to flush the old fluid in the master cylinder all the way thru the system to get it out
You can also use the turkey baster to suck the fluid out of the clutch master cylinder and then put fresh brake fluid back in.
Billman has a good writeup on gravity bleeding the clutch fluid--much easier than any other way. Do a search and you should be able to find it.
