You better sleve the block and change the compression at least 9 to 1.. Get bigger injectors at least 550cc and a good tuner..But hey what do i know..

Already in the works.

Getting an Alaniz short block build which includes sleeving the block, new rods and lower compression pistons at 9-1. I have 750cc injectors, so I should be covered there.

I've seen turbo car run 15-17psi on pump gas with 9:1 compression. Your limitation will be keeping the blower belt on above 15psi. As the pulley gets smaller, you loose surface area for the belt to drive the blower, as well as increasing blower RPM.

The Alaniz ported head will also have lower boost than a stock head with the same pulley, do to being more efficient.

Hoping to mitigate some the belt slip concerns running a small pulley by utlizing the Novi 2000 blower. Paxton gave me a rough estimate that the same sized pulley on a Novi 2000 will product about 3 more pounds of boost. It's admittedly a hip shot what the results are going to be and whether I'll experience belt slip, but I'm staying above a 3" pulley with the plan to get around 12lbs of boost. I'll have 3.1", 3.3", 3.5" and 4" size pulleys to start, hoping one gets the job done and returns some nice results.

Did you order 9:1 pistons for a stock head or did you give the chamber volumes on the head as well?

Can see what I'm doing at Joe's site. I've already got the Competition headwork sans Ti retainers and I'm getting the bottom end work in the High Boost Engine Package now.
