i guess the title says it all, but how many times can one resurface a head? because i blew a head gasket along time ago and needed to have the head resurfaced. i was wondering if it would be ok if i ever needed to resurface it again?

A good machine shop can tell you this. Also it all depends on how much they take off, when/if you need to get it done again they can measure what they need to take off and then tell you if it can be done.
