How many slipping clutches here?

I am in the same situation as Kekoa and Mas. I have an '02 that has a weak clutch and grinding 2nd gear. My clutch has been "on the way out" since 10K miles, but I'm at 29K now. I just slow down my shifting to let it grap between gears. I haven't ever been able to chirp my rear tires in 2nd gear, and 1st gear requires a very aggressive engagement.
My 2nd gear grind is kept under control by changing my tranny oil every 3K miles with Redline MT-90.

I don't have any plans for replacing the pressure plate until it is completely out. I know that my clutch disk has to be >50% gone, so it isn't worth it to just replace the pressure plate. The cost of the clutch disk is relatively small compared to the labor and pressure plate. I plan on getting a heavy duty pressure plate with a new stock disk.

23K miles and on 9-3-03 I now have ACT pp, oem disk and toda flywheel.
I am SC, putting down 297 to the wheels. I track my car and I have auto-x at over 30 events in the last year. It was time to replace the clutch, 8-30-03 1 month after installing the SC the clutch gave out.
I can already tell the clutch is stronger and plants power in an inch of engagement, it is real quick. The clutch is firm and I like it!
Replace the clutch with something that has more clamping force.
I stayed with the OEM disck becauase hardtopguy and many other racing their S2000's said it was enough to handle a stiffer PP, like ACT. Which is 44 % stiffer than stock and can handle 380+ ft lbs of tq.
hardtopguy has the hook up on OEM parts.

My clutch slips. Take her up to redline in third, shift fast, but not hard and it slips big time.
My S is an 02 with 16000 miles. Two launches at 4 grand and that's all the beating my car has ever had.
No FI either, just N/A.
Sucks I think but what can I do except buy a knew clutch.

Damn fellas, i just drove an s with full ACT clutch and . What a difference the clutch makes. You put a lot more power to the ground. Only bad thing is that the clutch is so much stiffer, which would suck in stop and go and the engagement is so much different. Well, if I can't get mine fixed, I'll prolly go that route.
