- OEM Clutch - 12k miles before being replaced by TSB
- 2nd OEM Clutch- 14k miles before being replaced by ACT Clutch/Street Disk/Toda Flywheel.
- ACT Clutch - Currently at 63k miles and starting to slip at high RPMs

Of course usage will make a big difference.. and mileage may be the only measure we have, but it is not a good one. And some replacements are done due to evidence of slipping even though the unit is not completely worn out.
A large amount of highway miles can make a clutch look to last a long time when in fact it has relatively few cycles. And a great deal of track time or launches can put a lot of wear on the components in very few miles.
My first clutch was replaced during a transmission fix at about 9K miles because it showed heavy wear and hot spots. My second only 7K miles later was also during transmission work because there were a few hot spots and it was an opportunity to try an aftermarket unit. The aftermarket unit was probably the wrong choice for road course use and did wear out being replaced 8K miles later.
Observe that the clutch in this car is pretty small for the engine output, especially since it must hold it at very high rpm shifts. Since the clutch can see such a wide range of usage I doubt it is easy to make a meaningful estimate of life.

WTF? Mine is 50,000 miles and still going strong.
You guys must drive like maniacs!
How long does a clutch last in a passenger car (IE, not a sports/race car)? I know a Pulsar that's had it's clutch for 10 years, 200,000 miles and is only now starting to slip. My Excel has also done 100,000 miles and has taught 5 people to drive manual and still going strong.

I'm about to turn 15K miles on mine, but it has seemed really week since it was new. I don't expect it will last much longer. If I shift from 2nd to 3rd, or 3rd to 4th too quickly, it doesn't grab.

I don't understand the "poll" part of this thread. Since the question was posed as "How many miles DID your clutch last?", I assume anyone who voted in the poll had a clutch replacement done at the indicated mileage, is that how it is supposed to work? If my clutch is still going strong, I am not supposed to vote? Can dhess please explain his/her question and the poll.

speaking of clutches: you may have a bad one from the factory.
Jan 2000 vintage.
At abut 28k I had the TSB done to elliminate the clutch rattle, and the new clutch they put in was like night and day.
My original clutch made smooth 1'st grear starts difficult (grabbed) and fast launches were close to impossible without clutch slipping.
With the new clutch plate it acts like I'd expect a Honda clutch to feel like. Start out smoooooth and I can chirp tires at will!
I thought the original clutch behaviour was just a normal thing for the S2000 but in fact I had a bum clutch from the factory!
