How low is to low to impact handling?

- just curious, but how do all the japs get by with having their shit dumped... like in this togue video right here.
- I know its not like a course with tight turns, but im sure that shit bottoms out as well...

yes, all of them except the RS and even then its possible the RS's will bottom out.

I have the BC's and dont seem to have bottoming out problem in the rear. I thought the two systems were similar?

We i guess as long as i dont slam the car ill be ok. I wasnt planning on doing than anyways. I guess i dont get it though i have never hear of these bottoming out. Why is there a difference between the internal and external shock resivours (sp?) ?

This isn't bottoming out like you would experience when hitting some pothole at speed in a lowered car. What happens is that under track conditions, the outside rear suspension can compress fully under load...right up to the end of the shock piston travel. This prevents any additional damping action from that wheel and if you were to hit a slight irregularity in the pavement, the rear end would start behaving badly since there's no more compliance in the suspension to absorb the load.

its not just the track, those of you on your "canyon" runs can do it too. Just drive hard enuf.

Yeah I know what your taling about, but the BC's can be adjusted 2 ways. The spring up and down and the actual whole strut and spring together. I readjusted my rear because it looked like the strut was compressed to much when I did it the first time. Cant the Teins be adjusted like that/

I believ so but i got to figure out how. I havent really played with them yet, but looking at them it i'm not to sure how to raise or lower them just yet. If you have any pics of how to doso that would be great.
