Default How low is to low to impact handling?

how low is to low to negatiavitly effect handling? I have a set of Tein Flex's and i am getting ready to put them on the car. Is the standard 1 finger gap between the fender and the tire to low? If it is what height would you guys recommend setting the car at? Thanks

I feel fender gap is just for looks. Whats more important is ground clearance and wheels rubbing.

I have tein Flex installed. I went with the standard drop from the factory which is 0.9inch for the front and back. The car handles beautifully. Now it has a one finger gap. I got a set of 18" OZ with offset 45mm front and 55mm back. No rubbing at all.

Happy motoring!

Some reputable members say that 0" drop is just right for optimal handling with anything less than the "best" dampers.

Trial and error...

If you think if rides better, then it doesn't matter what others say. You shouldn't want rubbing or bottoming out.

You have to consider the whether you ride with 2 people alot, and if you go on a lot of roads where the car compresses. Flat roads of FL are different than that of hill country... Is your vantage point bling or performance?

Start off modest and make + or - changes from there.

Unless you have remote reseviours in the rear anything more than maybe .25-.5" will cause you to bottom out the rear shocks and will make the car nearly impossible to handle at the limit.
