How long does it take to change a plastic rear window?????
Does anybody out there know how long it should take the Honda dealer to change a plastic rear window????
I live in the UAE and there's not many S2000's out here so consequently the local dealer doesn't know much about them. My rear window split a month or so ago and the car finally went in on Wed to have the replacement done. Its been there 3 days now and the service manager just rang me to say they 'were having a few problems as they'd never done one before' - not what I wanted to hear........
I'd like to know how long it should have taken so that if they try to sting me for a lot of labour hours, I can argue back at them.
Hope someone can help.
Cheers

It is not simple since they do have to drill out the rivets at the bottom where it is bonded to the mechanism. I don't know that I have the ticket on mine that was done on Honda as a courtesy (one of the design problems they did take responsibility for), but the window and other maintenance items were completed in less than eight hours.
