So I ordered a couple quarts of Amsoil 5w30 tranny oil for the S and it says it is back orderd. Go figure with my luck lol. How long has it taken your back order in the past to get to you?

I know your anxious and I would be to. I always like to get the stuff I order over the internet as soon as possible.
The bright side- There's no such thing as an emergency transmission fluid change and therefore a wait of an extra one or two weeks is really insigniicant. Hopefully you get your order soon and within days not weeks. GL

Yeah I guess I am just not very patient lol. I wanted to get it done while the car was already jacke dup and stuff to put the test pipe back on. I hope it gets here before my trackday bc I don't think the previous owner has ever changed it And now it's notchy as hell.

really? i order engine, trans and diff fluid last week and got it in like 2 days, are you going through amsoil directly? bc thats how i do it

what did it say? like if it tol you it was back ordered, did it give a date when it will ship out?

Change the diff fluid as well.

Also do the clutch fluid, made a huge difference.

did you get the manual synchromesh tranny fluid 5w30 then?

luckily I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and came within a couple days, I got fluids for motor, tranny, and diff might as well but only changed motor and tranny so far and I can feel how much smoother my S is

I've never had anything backordered. Not sure how the average backorder time will help you. There's no telling if your backorder falls into the average or not. If you're really curious then contact Amsoil.
