With the Honda catchers it comes on/off in about 10 seconds if you have a helper or a hoist. Cfactor used a metal plate that bolts the hard top to the car. It can still be removed, but it's just more work is all. I have the Honda catchers but I will probably never take the top off anyway.

The honda latches are definitely easier though. It just is a matter of if you have the money/want to spend the money to buy the OEM catchers.

I am surprised your tint guy wanted the top off. I offered to take mine off to make it easier for the guy to get in there and he refused. He isn't a small guy either. Maybe he has rubber arms....

As far as cleaning the back window I am 6"1 and can painfully contort my body to clean the back window. Its not fun but it gets the job done.

He just kneeled on the seats and reached over the hoops. Then I am sure he did some of it by standing outside and reaching in to squeegee. It's probably no more difficult than removing the rear tray. Definatly a PITA, but do-able.
