question though - in one of your first steps you put a rubber cap on the soft top. What is the purpose of this?
If you want mine, I'll send them to you for $10 shipped and I will eat the paypal fee. Let me know.
Can't wait to see the pics of your black and blue S2000

I am just going to try some tape to see if that will work, if not then consider the caps sold. And yeah the bruise2k is going to look great haha.
Not that this solution is any better than the electricians tape you mentioned but it is a little more elegant.
Either way , not such a big deal when the top is on since these two frame joints don't show anyway.

imports you need either the OEM sidecatchers from hardtopguy.com which will allow for you to quick release the rear of the hardtop. There is an alternate kit which is much cheaper that doesnt allow for you to take the top off as easy. PM me for more info on that.
You must get the strikers no matter what side kit you go with. If you go with the OEM side catchers you must get the side brushes as well. If you want the defroster you must buy the additional wiring/switch for it.
I believe HT guy sells a full kit. When I installed my top I only got the new side brackets and the strikers. With the brackets I purchased it wasnt necessary to get the brushes.

For the 00-01, you need the upgraded hardtop catchers in front and the defroster kit if you want that function because honda did not include the defroster wiring until 02. The defrosters on the hardtop are powerful and I have found them to cut thick frost in mere seconds. For some reason it seems faster than the defrosters on my other cars.
