How to Instal Exhaust!
OK! My Tanabe Super Racing medalion Just got here 2 days ago!
Ok it was raining and i dont have enough space in my Garage to move around and work well with the car!
So i just got under the car and a se like a Metal Bar with two screws!
Do i need to get that bar out in order to install the exhaust?
what does that bar do?
or i just need to get it out install the exhaust and then get the Bar bolt on again?>

This bar is a reinforcement.... Yes you have to get it out.
Then you remove the 3 bolts that attach your exhaust just after the catalytic converter, you spray a lot of wd 40 on the rubber things that hold your exhaust to the car and with a skrewdriver your just pop it out !!

I'm afraid it's more than just 2 screws to get that bar out of the way. There are several bolts of two different sizes. You also have to undo the fuel vapor collection cannister and let it hang. You can leave the last bar bolt loose and just swing it out of the way. Putting it back on is not that simple either. You need to use the correct torque as it is a frame stiffener.

..also....I found that silicone lubricant on the rubber hangers made removal a lot easier. I wouldn't use WD-40 on the rubber hangers.
A car jack is very helpful when lowering the stock exhaust out from under the car. It makes it easier and it also prevents damage to the exhaust/car if you ever want to use it again.
