Default HOW DOES AIR PUMP SOUND?

ive been reading through the forums regarding this p0410 code and it seems like its neither the air pump system or a vac leak somewhere.

people been saying if ur air pump is working, when the car is started up cold there is a sound coming from the bumper.
i tried youtubing and searching the forums. but how exactly does it sound like? wht kind if sound am i suppose to look out for?

does anyone have a video or something where i can familiar myself with this sound?

my car has dc headers with a stright pipe and tic single exhaust.. would it be my straight pipe be causing this code?

It's a light whistle. You should hear it from the drivers' side front bumper.

i was actually looking at this forum..
http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.p...ir%20injection

and if this is accurate, my lines were plugged in wrong.
last time i checked it was throwing p0410 code.
and this forum is to fix p0411 code.

might this be the way to solve the p0410 problem also ?

lines plugged in wrong will cause a code and the sound should be loudest when the car is cold, it sounds like a vacum cleaner as it is an air pump. it shuts off when the car is warmed up as i remember. had mine replaced under warranty at about 36,000 miles and i had to pay the labor cause it was just outside the mileage amount....

When you start the car on a cold start , you will hear a click and then a high pitched whistle/whine. Its very distinct and you will hear it with intake and loud exhaust even!

Just like the last vid, its too short.

I think I can hear it click on, but the vid ends before I can hear it turn off.

Hearing it turn off will ensure it was heard kicking on.
