How do you remove a Strut Tower Bar
Hello All,
I'm looking to remove the Strut Tower Bar on my car. I actually purchased it with it installed. It looks like there are two simple nuts that removes the bar. Those nuts also look like they hold the suspension in place.
If I loosen these to remove my STB will it effect my suspension? I know it's highly sprung, but I'm hoping the car's weight will hold it down. What about the alignment?
Thanks,
Kai

Depends on the type.
If it's a new Comptech, you'll have to raise at least one side so the suspension can lower out of the bar. It may be able to be forced, but I wouldn't as it may gall the threads.
Jacking up one corner with the stock Honda jack is simple. The suspension can be pushed down very easily with the car raised, and will come back up on it's own.
