How do you get the radiator fans to go on?
The non slim radiator fan was big and ugly so I replaced it with a fan I got off ebay. The fan didn't fit that great so I had to ghetto rig it to get it in. I also had to wire it in. Anyway I got it all in but i don't know how to get it to turn on. I ran the car till it warmed up but the fan didn't go on. I would normally think it was wired wrong but the other fan won't go on either.
I don't know how I could have wired it wrong since it was only 2 wires. I would have checked it earlier in the install but I spliced it to the stock fan's connector rather than splicing it into the direct lines. I assume I did it correctly but I just want to see the fan is spinning in the right direction.

The fan is set to go on at a certain temp, car has to be hot, not just warm. If it still does not work something is broken. Either your sensor would be bad or your wired it up wrong.
Take it out for a a few minutes, do a few hard runs winding it out to get it hot and then pull into the drive way and let it idle to see if the fans are running.

I replaced one fan. It was sort of for appearance. But the stock one was too big and I had to cut it to get the supercharger intake pipe on and it was a horrible cut and looked like crap. This new one doesn't fit great but at least their isn't a giant cut in it and it isn't huge.

I was able to get the fan to fit a lot better by just zip tieing it to the radiator. I only did 2 ties as it was going to be very difficult to get the bottom holes ziptied without taking off the radiator completely.
anyway I did the ac thing and the fan worked. thanks for the help.
