How do I remove this bolt from this hardtop striker? Is this some special anti-theft hardtop screw/bolt?

Yep, anti-tamper torx bit should take care of it. No idea what size though.

you can get a little supply of different sizes at autozone for a few bucks.

yeah as listed above, see if you an find the appropriate bit for that security screw. I got one of those with my heeltoeauto hardtop lock kits and they give you 4 screws to put into the striker plates and they give you the tool bit. I don't know why anyone would put one into the latch that defeats the need for a security screw IMO if someone is looking for hardtop protection. I wonder if they put the screws in the wrong location if they got the heeltoeauto hardtop locks.
