: how do i make my stock s2000 run a little richer
#11
i only unplug it to see if my fpr is still working or not. just for testing purpose.
im using ap1 ecu, ap1 injectors, manifolds, harness, sensors.
only thing ap2 is the long block. i didnt do the entire dbw swap.

i agree with everyone else i would figure the problem out instead of just trying to put a band aid on it
when i was a noob i had a turbo'd civic and to make it run richer i dis-connected the coolant temp sensor and it made it richer, also dis-connecting the iat sensor should achieve the same result i do not recomend either tho lol this was a long time ago with a piece of shit civic so it didn't really matter if it blew up it was a 100 dollar enging

First thing you do with a lean code is check fuel trim.
Then follow "proving trim" procedures, as i call them.
Trim repair procedures have been available since 1996. It's the entire reason for OBD2 in the first place.
Take my post to a mechanic who understands it. I could fix your car in 15 minutes. Where do you live?
