How Do I Keep My Silencer On?

I got an exhaust Apexi N1 but I can't keep my silencer on. I was wondering if this is a normal problem. Maybe you guys have some input.

My J's Racing silencer attached with two 10mm bolts. Never had a problem.

My Apex N-1 silencer attaches with one bolt through the tip. It came with all the pieces.

This problem is not uncommon. I've even seen one owner use a piece of coat hanger bent into the shape of a clip to keep the silencer in place.
