How do i install a DC SPORT header?
Hello to all! I just purchased a new DC Sport Header. Will someone please send a how to pictorial if one exist or send me a link to one. Im also about to change my springs. I have changed out the suspension on a CrX before and was wondering if it is a similar process. Is there a pirturial of this too. Also buy lowering the car am I going to need a camber kit. And who makes short shifters.

A more important question would be: Why are you installing a DC Sports Header?
DC may be fine for Civics and CRXs, but are crap for the S2000.
As for a short shifter ... if you go much shorter than a Team Voodo countersunk knob, you'll be grinding gears more than shifting them. The TV knob doesn't affect the mechanical throw, but by virtue of it lowering the height of the shifter (because it's countersunk), it will effectively shorten shifts by a little bit.

any time you lower a vechicle you will need to adjust the alignment and camber. maybe even the caster. usually the lower you go, the greater end adjustment is needed. after you lower your car, let the settle in for about 100 miles, then get it all adjusted.

I would HIGHLY suggest that you spend some time reading up on these boards and ask more questions before you continue to modify your car. It sounds like youre still working off a civic mentality and the S is a different world when it comes to beneficial modification.
The quality of the DC header has already been well addressed in this thread.
The S has a camber adjustment, you will want to investigate what alignment you want after the drop... It will make a huge difference in the cars performance.
The C's short shifter is RHD only. Some people have bent them to feel more natural in a LHD car but a number of the people who have tried these shifters out have sold them because the shift throw is already close to ideal to avoid grinding on shifts. Havent ground 1>2 yet? Dont worry, you will

- I can only give 2 reason why I have one on my car...
- came with my wideband (already had bung welded in) and its lighter, a lot lighter than stock...
- as for HP... heard it gains ZERO.. so at least you're saving weight..

1. I got a great deal on it. $200 brand new.
2. Looks nice under the hood.
On my car, I did not gain any peak hp, but I did gain some mid-rpm hp and tq.
