I did that at the dragstrip last weekend...
Feathered out at 8K and it hit rev limiter, ripped a second and hit rev limiter again. In meantime, I wasn't going anywhere. I had to get off the gas for it to grab.
The smell stayed with me on the drive home for another hour!!!!
IF/When I do the TSB55, I'll ask them to upgrade to the ACT clutch for a surcharge..

how can i tell if...?
my clutch is still good? sorry if this is a dumb question but this is my first manual tranny car. is there any way for me to test if my clutch is ready to go? also when do i change the tranny and differential fluids?

If it's not slipping when your foot is off the pedal, it's probably good. Also, there's a fliud changing schedule in your owners manual - if you don't track your car you can pretty much stick to that without worry.
