Default How can I drain gas from the tank?

I know this is a wierd one but I really need to know... I have a car show (HIN) to go to tonight and I can't get in with the gas I have in the tank and I don't have time to burn it off... So I have to take it out and put it in the lawnmower...

But how can I do it without making a mess or hurting something?

Is there a line I can just disconnect and let it drain out from?

Thanks for the help in advance!!

Cypher it, gasoline tastes like candy... really

On my old pontiac sunbird (yikes that was back in 93), I could just go under the car and disconnect the fuel line from the fuel filter, which was located next to the fuel tank on that car.

I have 0 ideas if you can't do something similar on the s2000.

Run the car up to your trusted mechanic and have them do it!

Be careful!

Or just start driving!

Unbolt the fuel line from the fuel rail (22mm wrench needed) put the line in a fuel safe container. You can cycle key on/off and get the pump to run for 3 seconds at a time. If you have access to a Helm ETM, you can power up the fuel pump from the main relay and pump out the tank.

There is no fuel filter inline on a S2k. Under the hood is your easiest access points for the fuel line.

pardon the question, what does it mean when there is no "inline" fuel filter for the S2k?
